Ideathons (2026)
An ideathon is a hackathon for ideas: instead of building a full product, you research a problem and pitch a solution with a short deck, and sometimes a mock-up. They are great for first-timers and for non-coders.
Judges look for a clear problem, evidence that users care, a realistic solution and a plan to build it. Each listing shows the themes, deck format and deadline.

Frequently asked questions
Ideathon vs hackathon: what is the difference?
Ideathons judge the idea and pitch; hackathons judge a working prototype. Many hackathons begin with an ideathon-style idea round before the build.
Do I need to code for an ideathon?
No. A clear deck and a simple mock-up are usually enough. Check the submission format on the hackathon page.
Will I get a certificate?
Every team that submits a project gets a participation certificate when the hackathon ends, and winners get a certificate of achievement. Some organizers add their own certificates too.
