Hack4Hack raises $150K seed round to help student builders everywhere ship

19 Oct 2026

Hack4Hack, the global hackathon platform for students and builders, has raised $150,000 in a seed round from angel investors. The funding will go into running hiring challenges with companies, more hackathons through the year, prizes and mentoring for participants, and tools that let companies, colleges and communities run their own events end to end.

The problem

There are millions of student developers around the world, but finding a good hackathon is still hard. Events are scattered across forms, group chats and social posts. Teams fall apart before the deadline. Submissions go into spreadsheets, and good work rarely gets seen after results are out.

Organizers have the opposite problem: running registrations, team formation, rounds, judging and certificates usually means stitching together half a dozen tools.

What Hack4Hack does

Hack4Hack puts the whole hackathon in one place.

  • For builders: discover hackathons, find teammates, work in a shared team workspace, submit each round, climb live ML leaderboards and earn verifiable certificates.
  • For organizers: a console to publish an event, manage registrations and teams, run multi-round submissions, shortlist, collect fees, post announcements and pick winners.

We got here because of you

This milestone belongs to our community. Every student who signed up, formed a team, pushed a submission late at night or shared a hackathon with a friend helped make this possible.

Investors backed Hack4Hack because of what you built and how fast this community has grown. Thank you for showing up, building and believing in us this early.

How we will use the funding

$150K is not a lot of money, so we are being careful with it. Here is where it goes:

  • Hiring challenges: we will organize hiring challenges with companies: real problems set by their teams, where students compete and the best builders get interviews, internships and job offers. Your work becomes your resume.
  • Running more hackathons: AI, ML and product hackathons across the year instead of a few big ones, open to students from every country, college and city, not only the big ones.
  • Prizes and mentoring: more of each event goes to prize pools, and to judges and mentors who give teams real feedback, not just a score.
  • Tools for organizers: a simpler console so a college club or a small company can run registrations, rounds, judging and certificates without a team of its own.
  • Getting builders noticed: project showcases and public profiles, so strong work keeps opening doors after the results are out.

Hiring challenges for companies

Companies hiring interns and freshers can run a hiring challenge on Hack4Hack. You set a real problem, students from around the world take it on, and you meet the people who actually solved it. We handle registrations, rounds, judging and results.

Run a hiring challenge

We built Hack4Hack for students who want to build, and you showed up. This round is a thank-you to our community, and a promise: more hackathons, bigger prizes and more chances to get noticed, for builders in every country.
