About the project
SpeePay is an innovative voice-first financial safety and payment assistant designed to make digital transactions safer, simpler, and accessible to everyone.
Traditional digital payment applications can be challenging for elderly people, rural communities, and users with limited digital literacy. Additionally, increasing digital payment scams create security concerns.
SpeePay addresses these challenges by introducing a voice-based layer over the existing UPI infrastructure. Users can initiate payments through voice commands. Before completing a transaction, the system verifies the recipient, analyses SMS and transaction patterns to detect potential scams, and provides a spoken transaction summary for confirmation.
It also provides multi-layer authentication using face recognition, fingerprint verification, and PINs. Its low-network handling feature helps manage transactions during connectivity issues.
